Many Georgia and Tennessee tree service companies rely on subcontractors to fulfill their work, even the ones that promote themselves as family-owned and operated. It’s great for that company’s bottom line, but it can turn out not so great for the customer.
Subcontractors have less accountability to you and can leave you with incomplete work, hidden fees, or worse. Some tree service companies choose to work this way for their own benefits. They may do this to take larger projects they don’t have the skills for, to have less responsibility to the customer and workers and for the opportunity to mark up prices, which you get to pay for.
When Things Go Wrong
We were recently contacted by a customer in our community who was understandably upset. They had hired a tree service to completely remove some trees in their previously beautiful front yard. The contractor cut the trees cheap but neglected to tell them about over the top hidden fees. To make matters worse the job wasn’t even been completed correctly.
The customer’s yard was littered with limbs and tree trunks and had sat that way for three weeks. The contractor didn’t have the equipment needed to finish the job but was happy to take the customer’s money. We were called in to fix it and we finished the job for them in one day.
We Work Differently
Moreover, our team works hard to earn our customer’s confidence. We work with people we personally know and trust from the community who have the expertise to handle each job. We apply our core values of honesty, integrity, and respect in everything we do. This allows us to invest in our region and keep local money in our community and schools.
